Network Technologies Unit
The Network Technologies Unit (ATB), under the umbrella of TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, is a leading technical unit that provides access to high-capacity, secure and sustainable network infrastructure for academic and research institutions in Turkey. ATB undertakes the design, operation and management of various network services, especially ULAKNET, which are vital for universities and research centers.
ATB's range of services includes IPv6-supported ULAK6NET infrastructure, global academic roaming services such as eduroam, digital identity and authentication solutions through YETKİM, inter-university pricing and resource tracking through ULAKNET UUYS, high-performance computing and data storage facilities through TRUBA, and ULAKNET statistical services.
Based on up-to-date network technologies and security standards, ATB supports Turkey's knowledge-based development goals by directly contributing to the digitalization processes of research and education institutions. It also aims to bring Turkey's research infrastructure up to world standards by working in cooperation with national and international stakeholders.

Secure and Seamless Academic Circulation
Eduroam is a global service that enables users to securely connect to the wireless network of another eduroam member institution with the internet access information of the institutions to which they are connected. The coordination of eduroam services in Turkey is carried out by ATB.

High Performance Computing
TRUBA is an infrastructure that provides researchers with high-performance computing (HPC), data storage and big data analytics. This infrastructure, supported by the Network Technologies Unit, paves the way for advanced research by adding technical power to scientific studies.

YETKİM is a digital authentication service for research and educational institutions. Thanks to its federated structure, users can access various services with their credentials in a secure and centralized manner.
