As TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, we are making national license agreements and studies with the world's leading publishing houses within the scope of the EKUAL Project, which we carry out in order to ensure that our country's researchers have access to qualified information, to provide equal opportunities in access to information and to contribute to the library budgets of universities.

Within the scope of the project, we made Wiley journals available to universities in Turkey and TRNC in 2018. In addition to access to the relevant collection in 2023, we increased the visibility of the articles by providing our academic community with the opportunity to publish open access articles in Wiley journals with an open access article publishing agreement.

Within the scope of the cooperation with Wiley Publishing, Wiley Publishing Vice President Katsuhisa Arai (APAC, MEA&CIS), Regional Manager Arwa Falazi (Strategic Sales, MEA&CIS) and Turkey Officer Duygu Paçalı (Senior Strategic Sales Manager, Turkey & Cyprus) visited TÜBİTAK ULAKBIMİ. During the meeting, user satisfaction, different alternative models for open access and issues related to ensuring the continuity of cooperation were discussed. Wiley officials expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation with TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM.
